You know the D44's (with 37's) are a "ticking time bomb" that haven't blown up in 6 years. Tick, tick, tick.
Mine had 170K with 37's the whole time only blew up the rear once.

Jason, I was thinking about your D30 ticking time bomb post from years ago! Tick tick tick.

Ive got 40's on my 44's, does fine with stock gearing... If you believed everything you heard and read I wouldnt have logged 25,000 miles on them. Boom!

I enjoy some difficult trails, but I refused to make it a trailer queen. Mine is a daily driver with over 193K. I've upgraded the axles as I've needed to - Superior evolution rear shafts(due to bent axle on 1side) and matching fronts( broke short side +-85K/ long side worn after 150K) 4:10 original gears/ front locker - replaced 1 broken rear locker with factory replacement.

I recently posted my JK flare higline here. I read so much about production ending and lost flare molds...

Again, nice rig - one to be proud of.
