On my iPhone I edit the picture first, just the smallest crop etc...and then save the photo.

Then when I post the saved picture it always is orientated the way I posted on the blog. Hope this helps as I had the same problem.

Congrats on the rack order! Sounds like a great place/way to spend some money on your AEV truck. Look forward to seeing the finished product.

I recently built a rack for my 2013 Ram 1500 with Rambox. The idea is to keep it everything acessible as if there was no rack. Super modular. Design features:
- Roof / rack tent (I have a Tepui Kukenam Sky)
- 10ft Jon Boat / kayak (fits between tent and tonneau) or canoe on roof.
- access to Rambox, fully opens
- tonneau cover access and easy removal of hard cover tonneau
- Rotopax mount hole plates
- side bar mounts for all your offroad stuff
- rear window bars to protect your cabin
- half-roof rack extension from bed to sunroof (also a great margarita sipping patio for sunets)
If anyone's interested, I can post detailed images while in production and finished product. Took me a while to fine tune the design, but now it works like a charm and blends in well with the truck.

Default Bed Rack for Ram

This is the nuthouse industries one.

I like it and will probably get one but I'm waiting to see if AEV is going to release their rack too so I can do a pros and cons list on both.

Here are some detailed pictures from my custom bed rack for the 2013 RAM 1500 with Rambox. The idea is to be as modular as possible, and mount RotoPax accessories, tools, HiLift etc.
The top supports a Tepui Kukenam Sky rooftent, the center of the rack has two removable horizontal tubes with ABS pipe cover to hold a 10' Lowe Jon boat.
The tonneau cover can be accessed, locked or completely removed for modularity.
The additional roof rack stops just before the sunroof, and supports quite a bit of weight (tested with 250lbs dynamic load, but likely higher).
Used around 70ft of steel tubing, roughly 220lbs in weight (4 guys lifted it onto truck), powdercoated.
I hope the images explain some other details. Please feel free to ask for other details or questions. I figured the biggest issue with Rambox roofrack / bedrack / truckrack is attachment points, I'm happy to clarify further if needed. It's been a fun challenge, and the result is spot on. Works as I hoped for, with no compromise in the use and access to Rambox or tonneau.
Either way, this has been a fun project with the amazing help of Sportsman 4x4 Light Truck & Offroad in Kamloops, BC.
Thanks guys!

Nuthouse rack looks nice and clean. I'm curious to see how they attached the rack to the truck frame. AEV told me their Rambox concept is still in development, so it'll probably be a while (I guess 2018..?)

It is nice. The price however is substantial. And WAY WAY more than I anticipated.
