We actually sourced a new unfinished top directly from gr8tops. It will go to paint at the same time the highline kit does. Glad to see another safari lj in the works.

We actually sourced a new unfinished top directly from gr8tops. It will go to paint at the same time the highline kit does. Glad to see another safari lj in the works.

I cut off the rear roll bars, really makes the rear cargo area seem bigger and I'm able to utilize all the windows in the hardtop. I bought the genright cargo tie downs instead of using the aluminum angle the top comes with. I'm having the roll bar modified with lower profile rails too.

With the rear roll cage removed I imagine you do indeed have a good bit of extra rear cargo room. Looks like your build is coming along quite nicely.

I've done 37's several times and it just takes a lot more to make it happen and it's not worth the extra inch of tires

It was in paint today. When is gets out its on to bumpers, wheels and tires, lighting and s pod. Soon after it will get the safari top from gr8.
