        XL

This one will not have lockers, just the anti spin rear diff. I think it will be getting a lot of attention.

Wow, this is nice. What's the price? My JKU350 needs to come up to you for its service in a couple of weeks, I will have to talk with Brian.

How does this set up drive on the highway and long trips? Will it seat 6 or just 5? How heavy is the spare tire if I needed to change a tire? What's the total height? Does this change over void the warranty?

              Pricing

I believe the MSRP will be in the low to mid 90's for this one. The truck itself is about $66,000 before rebates and discounts. We would love to take a nice JK-350 in trade. We went with the bucket seats so it will be a 5 seater. The warranty is similar to the JK-350, covered any US Chrysler dealership. I will have to find out what the spare weighs but thinking it will be around a hundred pounds but more awkward than heavy. I am not sure what the 40's will do to the ride quality but if you stop in, we have a 2500 with the AEV lift and 37's that you can take for a ride.

My 3500 Prospector on 37s runs down the highway nicely. I've read that the 40" tires ride even better due to the taller sidewall.

The tire itself weights 106lbs, plus the weight of the wheel. I'd bet total weight is close to 140lbs.

                  Tires

Thanks Bob, I know it will be a hefty combo but was not sure exactly the weight. I would imagine it will suck up the bumps a bit better with the taller sidewall.

While I agree 90k for a truck is steep, the Prospectors in my neck of the woods are going for upper 80's or low 90's (msrp) and they don't have 40's.... Its so hard for me right now to avoid those dealerships as I am on my search for a Ram to add to my fleet

                        What makes it an XL
                        40" tires
                        lower gears
                        lockers
                        cutout flares
                        hood
                        bumper & winch
                        hydro assist

What is the total height with the 40s? more than 86"?

                          XL Prospector

The lockers are not a part of the XL package but are an option. I am looking into the possibility of adding the lockers to this build. What do you think?

The Nomad XL had lockers. Might as well go all in since it is so over the top already! I've caught the XL bug for sure

I would assume for the buyer of a vehicle such as the XL they would expect ARB's and if they are already dropping $90K plus another $$$$ won't break the bank. I would personally have a difficult time buying a Prospector XL without them.

                              Just my $0.02.
