  • Used TJ / LJ HighLine kit for Sale

    Hey all,

I had a true AEV highline kit installed on my 2006 LJ (long wheelbase TJ).

I am moving back to a state with visual safety inspection and a handful of other goofy rules, and I think I need to go back to stock fenders.

Full kit - both fenders, hood, and all 4 plastic flares. All authentic AEV stuff. The sheet metal is painted to match factory Jeep flame red (2006). The flares will likely need to be painted or otherwise treated. I tried one of the "restore" products a couple years ago that turned out to just be dye and it left a mottled look.

Pics will follow - just trying to gauge interest for now.

Please respond to kunlajos@comcast.net or text only to 412-741-9005.

      Update

Hey - thanks to all who have reached out to me. I appreciate the interest. Given that one of the first guys to text was a retired PA police officer, I am going to look a little closer at keeping the kit and making the jeep PA street legal (thanks Justin).

Please stay tuned. I am keeping them for now but I will post again here if anything changes.

Oh man it will easily be legal in PA, thats where I'm from

the only issue is in PA you cannot have a flare larger than 3.5" wide. So all stock Sahara and Rubicon's are not street legal from factory according to PA cops, i know because i got pulled over in my sahara and the pig tried to tell me they weren't stock and i was illegal. if only they would go back and rewrite the rule. I stock JK flare is larger than that as well

False. The size of the flare is not the issue. It's how far out the flare protrudes from the body line of the vehicle. If it came from the factory like the Sahara and Rubicon flares then it is considered LEGAL. Refer to PA Title 67.

Damn Pigs, if only they were ALL perfect in their duties like ALL the awesome Quadratec reps, the world would be oh so much safer.
