AEV Commander Fender Flares

Hey Guys-- I have researched this a bunch but can't seem to find the answer, so I'm hoping one of you might have a better idea. I love the Fender flares that were added to the AEV Silver Commander in the pic attached. I do know that these were customized for the Commander and no one sells them, but does anyone know what vehicles fender flares they modified to get these? Or which Jeep (or other vehicle) would have the closest fender flares that would require the least amount of altering? Just looking for an idea if anyone knows.

There is actually a DVD "road to Iceland" that covers the commander and lj aev seam builds for that year, of memory serves correctly those flares were one-off fabrications specifically for that one commander.

I actually owned the AEV commander for about a year and can confirm they were one-off CAD designed pieces. I thought about having molds made of them to have a spare set in case they were damaged but didn’t know how AEV would feel about that and also, they wouldn’t really be marketable because the amount of additional fabrication required to the body of the Jeep was not so an average individual/shop could handle correctly. I’d love to see them available someday, especially as commanders come down in price, but I doubt the market is big enough for mass production.
