  • Brute DC 5.7 vs 6.4 pros and cons

Besides the obvious more power and most of us can never have enough power what are the pros and cons of a 5.7 vs 6.4?

    Fuel economy
Heat in engine compartment in extreme conditions
Is the 5.7 enough for the dc?

Seems like all the new ones are coming with 6.4's but i am concerned about the heat issue based on past experiences in extreme temps

    Thanks

I like my 6.4L. The engine is docile at low speeds, idles at 600 RPM and has good top end hit. I doubt that there's much difference in cooling it. They all need a lot of fan at low speeds.

Not sure it matters to you but the 6.4L does require Premium fuel, 93.
