    Any idea on price yet?
Yes these will be JK size wheels. We have not yet released pricing on the Borah wheel.

        Dave,

The new wheel looks great as always. Why not make the bolts countersunk?
        • In order to countersink, we would have had to make the ring thicker which just adds weight (and cost). There was no other advantage.
        • Instead, we went with a totally custom grade, 10.9 special bolt thats made just for us. The bolts have a long shoulder to prevent any stress risers in shear on the ring and are quite long, over 50mm long.
        • The 10.9 should take a ton of abuse with no issues.
        • We really needed external torque fastners, the internal fasteners would be too difficult to get the recommended torque, which has been increased over our old wheels.
        • The bolts in the photos are NOT the production bolts.

Basically everything about these new beadlocks is a 10x improvement on our old beadlocks. We've been working very diligently on wheels and constant improvement in the last 18 mo.

Dave, do you already know what colors you make these available in?
Will you offer different ring color options as well?

Well, as long as they come all matte black finish like the Saltas, I will already be very happy...

What was the pricing of the old beadlocks?

Also, do you know how much you expect the beadlock version to weigh?

I love the two tone of my '14 OEM Rubicon wheels matched with my granite Jeep. That's why I've kept them (and being rock-rashed) But this is the first wheel I've seen that seem better, obviously from a performance perspective, but also from an aesthetic perspective.

              Dave,

I was looking at some pictures of the new Borah wheel and noticed that the ones that are installed on the 20th Anniversary Wrangler at the SEMA show have a bronze color to them.

Did you paint these this color or are they a different version that have yet to come out?

What is the paint code/color that you used when you painted them?

There is another thread that addresses these bronze wheels. They are specific to the 20 available 20th Anniversary editions.

Are the 8 Lug guys going to get some love on this wheel too, or just jeep guys?

In that case, I'll have to powder coat them the satin bronze. Thanks!

Correct. The bronze finish shown on the Borah wheel in the above picture is only for the 20th Anniversary Editions.

Did you all see these in the new 2017 Quadratec catalog? They offer both a true beadlock and a faux beadlock version. Look the same. I think it was offered in onyx and polished aluminum versions. Very cool.

I think the Quadratec wheel is the same as the Mopar beadlock not the AEV Borah
