This was the latest thread I could find mentioning the outpost when searching. Have there been any updates? I'm planning on ordering an AEV JK in the coming months and want one of those tops. If it's not possible then I could put money toward other upgrades.

    Thanks.

Looks like the Outpost II might become a reality.

Looks very cool. Many questions. Will it work on a JL chassis as well? Can it be added to the back of the JL pickup in place of a bed? It looks like a 4 door chassis length with a cab closeout behind the front seats am I seeing correct?

I saw some where that this Jeep was built to showcase some new heavy duty springs AEV is offering.

Could it be J8 rear axle and spring setup? I can't seem to see if there are leaf springs in there or not.

Dave said that it is the new AEV High Capacity Suspension and a Dynatrac 60.

It was awesome in person, saw it today at the show. Dave said he made it as he has been testing a camper for the Ram. Prior to messing around on the Ram he thought it would be good to try it on a smaller scale. At this point they don't plan to make anymore, but they are testing their new HD suspension, which essentially are new Bilstein shocks.

It is a complete pass-through. The high capacity suspension is new springs as well to account for a heavily loaded JK and paired with the Bilstein 8100 shock. The new shock is a dual bypass, fully adjustable (compression and rebound), remote reservoir shock with a 60mm piston.
