It's called the JK-6 pack. Designed to sit up to six people. They grafted the back half of a two door JK on to a four door. Looks very nice and will be at SEMA as concept but they consider building it.

I saw this today. If they build it, I'll buy it for my wife.

Are you kidding me..... I'm at work and can't stop laughing!! If they make this they should really change the company name to ...... American Extended Vehicles!!!

They can't make rock guards and a roof rack for a 2dr but can produce stretch limo JK?? As if my turning radius isn't bad enough. Are they trying to break into the Limo Expedition market because if so ...... I didn't know there was one!! Another huge problem is this vehicle looks "kinda" ok but its on a 4.5" lift. You know what this would like like if it came from the factory at stock height and 32" tires??

Well, considering they got their start by stretching Wranglers in the first place.....

I really doubt they would just let you to the stretch and not a "Package". I suspect if they did offer these that they would only be as turnkey builds to current AEV customers, like the Brute Double Cab. I'd MUCH rather drive the family around in this than a Durango or Grand Wagoneer (whenever that comes out).

When you think about it, it makes perfect sense with the DoKa floating around.

Once you have the stretched chassis, all you need is a longer hard top instead of the pickup bed.

If there are people that want a DoKa, there are people that want this.

As mentioned, it uses the doka chassis and makes sense in the same way a Defender 130 wagon does. Besides the chassis and components, AEV had very little to do with jeep. It's more of a personal project of my business partner (he wanted one) and QMC did the body fabrication. Its not something AEV is actively pursuing.

I want a Jeep I can take off road.

                          I wouldn't take this offroad.

If I'm going to stick a wife/kids in a vehicle it's going to be safe, comfortable, quiet, efficient, etc.

Jeep JKs do not excel in any of these areas.

The article makes it sound like it was as much about showing the design, engineering, and manufacturing capabilities of QMC as it was about showing the capabilities of AEV.

I think it would very nice for camping in. Many people, myself included already sleep in the back of our JKs when out.
