I've been trying to track down if the water takes were made from food grade plastic. I assume this means that water should be safe to drink from them?

For me...the ability to carry water for camping trips is more important than extra gas. I was thinking about the possibility of connecting my unused fuel caddy to the tanks on the bumper(if the plastic used for the fuel caddy was free from dangerous chemicals). Since it isn't safe to use for water, I would be ready to purchase one...in black. Count me in as well.
