Definitely put some planning into your rig. It's coming together great. Awesome rig!

Thanks guys! Yes lot's of planning before and during construction for sure.

ITB should be done the camper portion by the end of the month then we wait patiently for AEV to release the flares and bumper.

Incredible build, great thread. Will be checking back to follow your progress. Have you considered using the pre-filter on the snorkel? It works really well and would look good on your build.

                Thanks Rex.
Yes, we will be switching over to the pre-filter on the Raised Air Intake.
It is amazing how many people ask if we will really be going through water that deep!!

I get the exact same question with the snorkel/pre-filter on the Jeep. What trips are you planning to run with your new "RV"? You don't build a rig like that without a few destinations already on the bucket list.

                    Absolutely.

North to Alaska, North West Territories, Yukon

East to Halifax, Labrador and New York

New Hampshire, Maine and Vermont in the fall

                    Wisconsin in the fall

                    Yellowstone in the spring

                    Iowa at harvest

                    Victoria BC in the winter

                    British Columbia in the fall

Fort McMurray to see the oil sands

Mount St Helen's ( We were there 15 years ago and would love to see the changes)

All over Oregon, Washington, Utah, ID, Wyoming, NV. (Learn to fly fish, kayak & white water raft)

                    Architecture in Chicago

I want to watch 1) speed trials in Bonneville, UT
                    2) a SCORE race

                    7) Tail gate at some NFL games
                    8) Blues in Chicago

Annie says we have to stop at any quilt or fabric shop within a 50 mile radius of any route we are on.

I would love to run down the PCH again. This time pulling over onto the beach, lighting a big *** fire and visiting with whoever comes to join us.

That is a rough list. I know I forgot lots and I am sure more will come up as we drive around in the Intercontinental Cruiser !

Oh ya and we want to meet as many AEV fans as we can along the way.

                            Some updated photos.

                            Kitchen coming together nicely.
More wiring done. Going to need a course in how to work all of the electrics.

Bathroom coming together nicely as well.

Shower installed. Counters all in place. Sofa in place.

Shore hookups getting close to being done. Can't wait to get the rest of the tires installed hopefully in a couple weeks.

I am told that ITB should be done their portion by the end of next week.
