  • 41 IROKs or 40 Toyo MTs

Has anyone run both of these tires? I love the toyos in 37s but thinking about swampers.

    Thoughts, advice, much appreciated.

FWIW, Swampers are notoriously soft and often don't last very long.

I ran TSL swampers about 10 years ago on a bobbed Toyota rock crawler they seemed to last even with the combo rocks and daily driver. But it was super light.

Different tires for a different purpose. 39.5 Iroks would be a closer match to the 40" Toyos in size. The Iroks have a higher load rating. If you have a 3500 you would need the higher rating of the Irok. General consensus is that the Irok is better off road. It also seems like Dave's vehicles tend end up with a set of Iroks. Probably a reason for that.

Pulled the trigger on 40" toyo MTs. Once in a while I do the adult thing. Longer tread life.
