Congrats on your new purchase and welcome to the AEV family! Below you will find the technical information you are looking for. We are in the process of making this information available in a digital owner's manual.

Recommended Maintenance Schedule for 5.7L/6.4L AEV HEMI Engine Option

Recommended Fluids—5.7L/6.4L AEV HEMI V8 Engine Option

    Engine Oil

Refer to the Engine Oil Filler Cap for the SAE Oil recommended weight.
    • The oil capacity of your 5.7L/6.4L AEV HEMI Engine is 8 quarts (including oil filter)

    • 5.7L HEMI V8 Engine Option—Unleaded fuel with a minimum octane rating of 87 or higher
*Using a lower grade fuel may cause damage to the engine and may void any AEV or FCA warranty.

    Automatic Transmission Fluid
Use MOPAR AFT+4 Automatic Transmission Fluids.
*Refer to OEM Manual for proper fill levels.
*NEVER mix different brands or types of transmission fluid.

    Differential Fluid
AEV recommends using 75W-140 Synthetic Lubricant in both the front and rear differentials.
    * Please refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for fluid capacities.

A Mopar filter for a 5.7L Hemi for a current generation Grand Cherokee engine would fit the bill.
