The same argument was made to Dave for the BDC, and there was no business case for a kit, let alone a full conversion.

This kind of a project takes deeper pockets than what AEV had (and likely still has), and offering it as a kit opens up other issues if installed incorrectly (the Ram drag link comes to mind).

I meant AEV doing it and not a kit. I get it tho.

ID:	262521I would buy the J6 version of the Gladiator if Jeep offered it or I'd buy a J6 conversion if AEV offered it. The Mopar designers managed to get the classic jeep proportions and feel just right with this concept. I've heard all of the excuses, speculation, and what not of why no company would build and offer the J6 for sale. Mostly regurgitated information from so called professional magazine writers, no real facts. My son and many others I know would buy one of these. For me it would be a toy to replace my '12 JKR Wrangler. For my son it would be his daily driver. My dad wants one completely stock to use on his farm and to plow snow. A truck this size could be incredibly versatile.

It looks awesome, but I'm still in the same boat as not many people are going to pay a bunch for a smaller pickup. I think if jeep came out with it that would be a different story.

How about a cab and a half with rear jump seat and suicide doors ala FJ Cruiser?
You can still haul 4 people with a reduced wheelbase but it won't suffer much by having such a large break over.
