  • Brute out hunting again (Spring Turkey)

I was finally able to get out after Turkeys. We've had a heck of a spring with lots of late snow. Warmed up some but more snow this weekend. (I'm ready for summer for sure) Using the Brute for my intended purpose. Hunting!!!

There have always been a lot up by Grant Creek and the Snow Bowl area. I would always have a tought time avoiding them when I would go up there in the early and late seasons at Snow Bowl.

Yes getting more and more every year. This area was permit only so was lucky enough to draw. I'll probably head east next year to chase them

I am so old I remember when there were no turkeys in western Montana. Of course I started to ski snow bowl back in the early 70's lol.

One more year and I will be moving back to western Montana again. Hopefully this time I will be smart and won't leave again.
